Horwath HTL was engaged by a private owner in Lithuania who had recently acquired a prominent hotel asset. Our mandate was to perform a comprehensive operational audit to assess the property’s current performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Our team conducted a thorough review across all hotel departments, analyzing financial results, operational procedures, guest service standards, and the overall organizational structure. Through detailed interviews with management and staff, onsite inspections, and benchmarking against industry best practices, we identified several critical areas requiring immediate attention.
Key findings included inefficiencies within the management team, unclear departmental responsibilities, outdated operating procedures, and missed opportunities for revenue optimization. In response, we developed a clear and actionable set of recommendations focused on restructuring the management hierarchy, redefining key roles, and introducing new reporting lines to enhance accountability and decision-making.
Additionally, we proposed a reorganization of departmental workflows, enhancements to guest experience initiatives, and strategic cost management measures designed to improve profitability without compromising service quality. Our final report provided the owner with a practical roadmap for repositioning the hotel in the competitive Lithuanian market and ensuring long-term operational success.
By working closely with ownership throughout the process, Horwath HTL ensured that all recommendations were aligned with the client’s investment goals and the hotel’s brand vision, setting a strong foundation for future growth.
