Market Research and feasibility for Oceanfront Luxury Spa Village

Conducted a feasibility study for a wellness village within a luxury hotel, commissioned by one of the world's leading casino hotel groups. The project aimed to establish Saudi Arabia's first hotel and resort casino, located in Ras Al Khaimah, featuring a state-of-the-art wellness center, blending luxury hospitality with an innovative wellness offering.

Project scope

The client is developing a landmark casino resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, which includes an expansive 8,000-square-meter wellness centre. To ensure the wellness offering stands out in this competitive market, the client engaged a specialist firm for spa and wellness consulting to refine the design scope and strategic direction.

The consultancy conducted detailed market research, analysing the regional and global wellness market to identify emerging trends and customer preferences. An in-depth evaluation of direct and indirect competitors in the region was undertaken to highlight market gaps and establish opportunities for differentiation. Based on this analysis, the team developed a comprehensive wellness concept tailored to meet the demands of both local and international clientele, ensuring alignment with the resort’s overall luxury positioning.

The resulting recommendations included innovative wellness services, spatial design adjustments to optimise functionality and guest experience, and operational strategies to maximise revenue potential. This collaborative approach ensured the wellness centre is strategically positioned as a cornerstone of the resort’s offering, creating a unique value proposition that supports the development’s success in attracting a discerning audience.
