Management Company Search
Horwath HTL was mandated to find a new Management Company for an existing resort hotel.
Our consultants were engaged to assist a hotel owner in identifying and securing a suitable management company to operate their property. The owner sought a professional operator capable of enhancing performance while aligning with their strategic vision and financial objectives.
We began by conducting a detailed assessment of the hotel’s operational and market position, identifying key performance drivers and areas for improvement. Based on this analysis, we developed a tailored set of criteria for potential operators, considering brand alignment, commercial terms, operational expertise, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
A structured search process was undertaken, reaching out to a carefully selected group of management companies. We prepared a comprehensive request for proposals, ensuring clarity on expectations and contractual terms. Once responses were received, we carried out a detailed evaluation, comparing financial projections, operational capabilities, and strategic fit. Our team facilitated discussions between the owner and shortlisted operators, negotiating key commercial terms and ensuring alignment on management responsibilities, reporting structures, and performance benchmarks.
Following a thorough selection process, we supported the owner through contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and a clear framework for accountability. Our involvement extended to overseeing the transition period, providing guidance on operational handover and ensuring a seamless integration of the new management team.
By securing a well-matched operator under commercially sound terms, the owner gained a structured and professional management approach, positioning the hotel for long-term stability and improved financial performance.
