Hospitality Experience
Feasibility Study & Development for Dual-Branded Hotel
Our client is a faith-based, non-profit health system. They were looking to add a hotel near their medical campus to improve their offerings to patients, medical personnel, and other stakeholders.
Project Scope
Our team was engaged by a faith-based, non-profit health system to conduct a feasibility study and provide development consulting for a proposed dual-branded hotel near their medical campus. The project aimed to enhance the health system’s offerings by providing convenient, high-quality accommodations for patients, families, medical personnel, and other stakeholders.
The engagement began with a thorough analysis of the market, focusing on the unique needs of the client’s target audience. We evaluated demand drivers, including patient volumes, visiting medical professionals, conference attendees, and transient guests. Additionally, we examined regional hospitality trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Our feasibility study included detailed financial projections, operational strategies, and risk assessments to ensure the project’s viability. The dual-branded concept was chosen to appeal to two distinct market segments: extended-stay guests, such as patients and their families needing proximity to the medical campus, and transient guests seeking short-term stays. This approach optimised revenue potential while addressing diverse accommodation needs.
As part of our development consulting services, we worked closely with the client to design the concept, balancing functionality with comfort. We provided guidance on room configurations, public spaces, and amenities tailored to the unique demands of healthcare-related travel. Recommendations included features such as wellness-focused design elements, flexible meeting spaces, and food and beverage options aligned with the client’s values and mission.
We also supported the client in identifying suitable brand and operational partners that aligned with their organisational ethos and commitment to service excellence. By combining strategic planning with mission-focused design, this dual-branded hotel is positioned to deliver both financial sustainability and meaningful support to the medical campus community.
The project demonstrates our ability to align hospitality development with the mission and operational needs of non-profit organisations, ensuring long-term value and impactful service delivery.
