Dr. Clay B. Dickinson has joined Horwath HTL as a Managing Director leading the Miami office.
Clay Dickinson brings more than 35 years’ global hospitality industry experience, having successfully built and led development and industry practice groups focused on South Florida and the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America for KPMG, IHG, and JLL.
Clay Dickinson’s expertise spans various property types, including hotels, resorts, golf courses, convention centers, marinas, branded resort residential and general commercial real estate (office, industrial, retail, multifamily housing, and land) domestically and internationally.
He has completed transaction advisory services for more than $10 billion in value, as well as a range of corporate strategic advisory, valuation, market feasibility, development planning, litigation support and asset management services for projects all over the world.
Dr. Dickinson is also a professor of real estate for the Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Hollo School of Real estate at Florida International University in Miami, FL.
Clay has a high level of professional proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese. Apropos of his location, he is an avid blue water sailor and overall waterman. He is also passionate about reading, travel, and current events.
