The objective was to ensure the business was accurately valued, well-positioned in the market, and successfully transitioned to new ownership.
The project began with a comprehensive business review to identify strengths, growth opportunities, and areas requiring improvement. We conducted a detailed financial analysis, reviewing historical performance, revenue streams, and cost structures to establish an accurate valuation. This was supported by benchmarking against industry standards and comparable transactions to validate the market positioning.
Next, we prepared a compelling Information Memorandum (IM) highlighting the business’s unique value proposition, operational performance, and future potential. This document served as a key tool for attracting qualified buyers and facilitating transparent negotiations.
Our team identified and engaged a targeted list of potential investors and buyers, leveraging our network to generate interest in the sale. We managed the communication process, fielding inquiries, providing additional information, and organising site visits to showcase the business’s assets and operations.
Throughout the due diligence phase, we provided support in addressing buyer queries, resolving concerns, and ensuring the process remained on track. Our team worked closely with the client’s legal and financial advisors to manage contracts and compliance, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction.
In the final stage, we negotiated terms to achieve the best possible outcome for our client. We provided strategic advice on deal structuring and worked to close the transaction in alignment with the client’s objectives.
