Tamás Tóth
Senior Director, Budapest, Hungary
Tamás joined Horwath HTL Hungary in 2025 as Senior Director. His primary responsibility is the asset management of hotels, while he also contributes to various consultancy projects across the region.
Tamás brings extensive operational experience in the hospitality industry, having held key positions across multiple hotel categories and internationally recognized brands. His portfolio includes roles with IHG, Marriott, and Danubius, as well as with Accor Group brands such as Mercure, Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis, and B&B Hotels. For over 15 years, Tamás served as General Manager in several hotels, gaining in-depth knowledge of day-to-day operations and strategic leadership.
In addition to his operational background, Tamás holds a degree in Human Resources Management, which enabled him to lead HR functions for six years. During this time, he was responsible for the full scope of human resources activities at both a Novotel and a Sofitel property.
From 2023 to 2025, he worked with a Hungarian investment firm focused on hotel acquisitions, particularly in Spain, Croatia, Italy, and Greece. His role included providing professional support for hotel transactions and overseeing the asset management of the company’s entire hotel portfolio in Croatia. He also served as Managing Director of the firm’s hotel operating company in Spain.
Tamás earned a degree in Human Resources Management from the Tessedik Sámuel College of Economics in 2001.
