Supported by hotelleriesuisse, we made it our business to map the “brand-scape” of hotels and chains in Switzerland. The resulting report details our findings and provides an overview of not only the market place itself, but also of international and domestic hotel chains actively pursuing business in Switzerland and the market shares of chain hotels. This initial survey concentrates around brands.

At a total count of 218 chain affiliated hotels, Switzerland is a rather small player. Currently domestic chains hold a considerable share thereof.
