Project Scope

Our mandate involved the conversion of this iconic structure into a luxurious five-star hotel, featuring 169 elegant rooms, seamlessly blending contemporary design with heritage elements.

We envisioned and curated an integrated experience that went beyond just hospitality, incorporating carefully designed concept shops within the main building to enhance the guest journey.

A key aspect of the project was the revitalization of seven satellite buildings within Lisbon’s Pombaline downtown area. These spaces were meticulously refurbished to complement the central hotel experience, offering diverse amenities such as state-of-the-art meeting rooms, innovative workspaces, branded residences, serviced apartments, and a sophisticated wellness centre. This holistic approach allowed us to create a vibrant urban hub that offers both comfort and convenience, attracting discerning guests seeking a blend of tradition and modernity.

Throughout the project, we provided strategic guidance, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision while managing complexities in design, construction, and heritage preservation. With a total project investment of €160 million, the result is a landmark destination in Lisbon, redefining luxury hospitality in the heart of the city.
