Horwath HTL Spain organizes Barcelona is Back, the first event of the year in the hotel industry

Horwath HTL Spain has organised ‘Barcelona is Back’, the hotel industry’s first event of the year.
The invitation-only event will feature Antoni Cuadrada and Philip Bacon, senior directors at Horwath HTL, Spain, who will moderate the panels, where the focus will be on the analysis of the primary metrics of the sector from multiple viewpoints. The event will start with a macroeconomic analysis before moving to local issues and interviews with key industry figures.
#BIB2023 will bring together the critical players in the sector: owners, banks, funds, institutions, chains, operators, managers and senior executives in, what will be, a first edition that delves into the evolution, current affairs and prospects for the Barcelona market.
Oriol Aspachs, Director of Spanish Economy at Caixabank, will open the event with a “Maco Analysis & Top/Down Barcelona”. Then the round table entitled “Financial Perspective” will take place, with the participation of Lourdes Ridameya (Head of Promotion at ICF), Ana Blasco (Caixabank Hotels & Tourism) and Rafael Ferragut (Director of Tourism and Leisure at Banca March). After a coffee break, the “Investment Perspective” table will be held, in which will be Juan Antonio Gutiérrez (Detellor in Mazabi), Felipe Klein (Managing Director of Investments in HIP) and Cristina Hoyo (Southern Europe Director in Covivio). The last panel will be the so-called “Hotel Perspective”, with the presence of Carlos de la Barra (General Manager ‘Nobu Hotel Barcelona’), José Rodríguez (CEO at Sercotel Hotel Group), Félix Navas (General Director of Catalonia Hotels & Resorts) and Xavi Vega (CEO at Anima Hotels). The panels will be moderated by Antoni Cuadrada and Philip Bacon (Senior Directors at Horwath HTL).
