Established in 2007 as International Hotel Investment & Design Conference, the IHIDC and Hospitality Gipfel have been the key platforms in recent years where the industry’s leading hotel investors, developers, operators and advisors in Austria and CEE came together. As of 2021, the two previous conferences will be merged and renamed to 196+ forum Vienna, focusing on hospitality investment & innovation.

The Brand Award by Modul University

The Modul Brand Award was established in 2016, where students evaluate the most innovative Hotel Operation on the market that respond to the needs of the fastest growing group of consumers: Millennials. Students will present their findings and final results to the audience of the 196+ forum Vienna on 29 November 2021, at the Hotel Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere. This project shows once more the capacity of the University to combine academic studies with current demands of the industry. The Project is supervised by a team of hospitality professionals and by the dean.
