Paul H. Ingebretsen

With more than four decades of experience in luxury and upper-upscale hospitality, Paul is a bilingual industry leader with a background spanning operations, asset management, strategic advisory, and academia throughout the CALA region. His client-centric approach is focused on enhancing profitability, repositioning assets, boasting asset values and elevating guest experiences.

Throughout his career, Paul has held full P&L responsibility for flagship hotels and resorts as well as multi-property portfolios under globally recognized brands including Westin, Hilton, Casa de Campo, Marriott, Presidente InterContinental, and Quinta Real. He has successfully led pre-openings, turnarounds, and performance improvement initiatives and has been recognized as Mexico’s General Manager of the Year, along with numerous industry honors for leadership, service quality and operational results.

Paul has also held university professorships in hospitality management in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe, reinforcing his commitment to education and industry development. He studied Hotel and Restaurant Administration at Washington State University, has completed executive education at Cornell University and Tecnológico de Monterrey, and holds the Certified Hotel Administrator designation. He combines strategic insight with disciplined financial and operational execution to deliver sustainable value for hospitality stakeholders.
