Horwath HTL was engaged by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia to provide concept development and strategic advisory services for the AMAALA wellness core, a transformative initiative to position AMAALA as a premier global wellness destination. The project encompassed a range of visionary developments designed to cater to diverse wellness markets while upholding the highest standards of luxury, sustainability, and innovation.

Horwath HTL was engaged by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia to provide concept development and strategic advisory services for the AMAALA wellness core, a transformative initiative to position AMAALA as a premier global wellness destination. The project encompassed a range of visionary developments designed to cater to diverse wellness markets while upholding the highest standards of luxury, sustainability, and innovation.
Our work began with the concept development for key components of AMAALA, including:
– Family-Friendly Integrative Wellness Resort: Designed to offer holistic wellness experiences for all ages, blending family-centric programs with cutting-edge health and wellness facilities.
– Adults-Only Integrative Wellness Resort: Focused on providing a tranquil and immersive wellness experience for adults, with a strong emphasis on rejuvenation and mindfulness.
– Luxury Medical Wellness Resort: A high-end destination offering personalised medical and wellness services, integrating advanced medical technologies with luxury hospitality.
– Wellness Research Institute Developed in collaboration with Oxford University, this institute was conceived as a global hub for wellness innovation and research, enhancing AMAALA’s reputation as a leader in the field.
– Wellness Village and Clinic Center: Envisioned as a vibrant community space with wellness retail, recreational facilities, and comprehensive health services for residents and visitors alike.
In addition, Horwath HTL provided spa and wellness consulting for significant AMAALA projects, including the Triple Bay Wellness Community Development, the Private Island, and the Miraya projects. These consultations ensured that each element of the wellness core reflected the AMAALA vision while appealing to discerning global wellness seekers.
Our deliverables included market analyses, feasibility studies, operational frameworks, and bespoke wellness concepts tailored to AMAALA’s unique brand and strategic objectives. By integrating luxury, innovation, and sustainability, Horwath HTL’s guidance ensured that AMAALA would set a new benchmark for excellence in wellness tourism on the global stage.
