Caroline Fleet is a Partner in the Corporate Tax team at Crowe UK and leads the firm’s Real Estate practice. As a strategic advisor to Horwath HTL UK, Caroline brings over 15 years of experience advising clients on the tax structuring, compliance, and transaction planning of hospitality real estate investments.
Caroline supports a range of clients, including property groups, family offices, and institutional funds, across real estate development and investment activities. She delivers clear, commercially grounded advice in complex tax environments, helping clients plan with confidence and optimise for long-term value retention.
Through her work with Horwath HTL UK, Caroline supports hospitality, tourism and leisure businesses in navigating the increasingly complex UK tax landscape. She frequently advises on the set-up and optimisation of PropCo/OpCo (Property Company/Operating Company) structures, as well as the tax implications of operational changes, ownership models, cross-border investments, and exit scenarios. Caroline works closely with clients to ensure that tax planning is aligned with commercial strategy and investment objectives.
Caroline plays a key role in integrating expertise across Crowe UK’s multidisciplinary advisory network—bringing together audit, tax, advisory and corporate finance specialists to create bespoke teams tailored to each client. This collaborative approach allows Horwath HTL UK to embed deep commercial expertise within hospitality, tourism, and leisure advisory, and bring sector-specific insight into wider commercial contexts—delivering cohesive, high-impact advice to owners, investors, and operators.
