Qazaq Oil Hotel Portfolio Development – Kazakhstan
Horwath HTL Hungary was engaged by Qazaq Oil, one of the major oil companies of Kazakhstan to provide strategic support for the development of the proposed Qazaq Oil Hotel Portfolio, a landmark initiative to establish a nationwide hospitality brand and chain of hotels and motels at major transit corridors and hubs of Kazakhstan
Project Scope
Our mandate included a comprehensive program of site selection and appraisal across over 12 potential hotel locations.
Each site was evaluated through careful market demand analysis, financial feasibility testing, and competitive benchmarking to determine its suitability for inclusion in the proposed portfolio.
We worked closely with the client to define a prototype product and operating model tailored to Kazakhstan’s evolving leisure and business travel landscape.
The project culminated in the creation of a phased hotel portfolio rollout strategy, ensuring coherent brand positioning, operational efficiency, and long-term commercial viability across the country.
