Strategic Consulting for “El Borgo” Hotel

Competition and Brand Selection for the hotel in the mixed-use project “El Borgo”.

El Borgo, a boutique hotel project, required strategic consulting to refine its market positioning, operational model, and financial viability. Our consultants were engaged to assess the development concept, ensuring alignment with market demand and investor expectations while optimising the guest experience.

The engagement began with a detailed market analysis, evaluating demand drivers, competitive benchmarks, and consumer preferences to define a clear positioning strategy. This included an assessment of target segments, pricing structures, and brand differentiation opportunities. A review of the proposed facilities and services was conducted to ensure they met both market expectations and operational efficiency standards.

Financial modelling played a key role in the process, with our team developing projections to assess revenue potential, cost structures, and return on investment. Sensitivity analyses were carried out to test various scenarios, ensuring resilience in different market conditions. Operational strategies, including staffing models, service delivery frameworks, and cost efficiencies, were also examined to enhance profitability.

A series of strategic recommendations were delivered, providing a roadmap for the hotel’s development and long-term success. These addressed market positioning, branding, operational efficiencies, and revenue optimisation strategies. Our work enabled the client to refine the project’s direction, ensuring a well-defined and commercially sustainable boutique hotel concept.
