Bio
Formerly Vice President of Operations for Accor Hotels in New Zealand and Fiji, Daniel was instrumental in driving growth, portfolio expansion, and operational excellence across a diverse range of brands from luxury to economy.
With a career defined by strategic insight and commercial acumen, Daniel has led multi-disciplinary teams overseeing finance, operations, procurement, IT, sales, and marketing functions. His ability to translate strategic vision into executable business plans has underpinned major hotel openings, acquisitions, and turnarounds across the Pacific. He is widely recognised for fostering collaboration between owners, operators, and brand partners to achieve performance improvement and sustainable growth.
Prior to his operational leadership role, Daniel served as Director of Finance for Accor Hotels across New Zealand, Fiji, and French Polynesia, where he guided financial strategy, feasibility analysis, and governance for a regional portfolio exceeding NZD $1 billion in assets.
His strengths lie in strategic planning, operational optimisation, and commercial partnership development, helping owners and investors unlock long-term value.
Education:
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA). He is also an alumnus of the Institute for Strategic Leadership’s executive program in New Zealand.
