About
Catherine has over 20-years’ experience in hospitality advisory in Africa. Catherine has worked with HVS as Business Development East Africa, InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) and as the Area Revenue Director Africa and Franchise Business Support for more than 20 hotels across the continent from Accra to Cape Town, as well as pre-opening services for the franchise estate. Other key roles Catherine has held over her career are Yield Manager for Heritage Hotels and Group Ecommerce Manager for Sarova Hotels.
Catherine holds a Masters in Business Administration (Strategic Management and Information Systems & Technology Management) and a BSc International Business Administration (Management), both qualifications conferred by the United States International University, Kenya. Her professional career development includes Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management (Cornell), Revenue Honours Academy (IHG) and Hotel Revenue Management (Cornell) to name but a few. Catherine is past Vice Chairperson, and currently a member of the Kenya Association of Women in Tourism (KAWT).
