Amsterdam, September 16th 2024
We are pleased to announce that Horwath HTL Netherlands and Forvalue real estate specialists have entered into a strategic partnership. This marks the beginning of a valuable collaboration between Ewout Hoogendoorn, Dorus Helsen, and Koos Schreuder, combining the strengths of both companies and further expanding their expertise. This partnership enables us to better serve the hotel and real estate market and elevate our services to an even higher level.
Partners unite forces
Horwath HTL Netherlands and Forvalue real estate specialists have decided to merge their unique qualities while maintaining the established identity of both companies. This collaboration offers both companies the opportunity to continue providing their services with a strong focus on internal knowledge sharing, expanding expertise, and uniting strengths.
While Horwath HTL maintains its focus on (hotel) valuations, consultancy, planning & development, feasibility studies and strategic advice. Forvalue will continue to focus on appraising operational real estate and providing transaction related services.
Added value of the partnership
The combined expertise in real estate valuation and strategic advice creates a powerful synergy that directly benefits our clients. A synergy is created that offers clients a more complete and effective service. This can be particularly valuable in real estate projects within the hotel sector, where the market, financial, and real estate aspects can be optimized through this partnership. Clients will benefit from a thorough and comprehensive approach.
Looking to the future
Within the new structure, Horwath HTL will focus on expanding several existing products. These include planning & development, valuations, and strategic advice. Horwath HTL has played a leading role in studies for the sustainable urbanization ladder and will continue to contribute to the quantitative and qualitative assessment of needs in this area. Additionally, banks including ABN AMRO Bank, ING Bank, Rabobank, and Triodos Bank remain closely involved in our plans. They have responded positively to the partnership and are interested in further development.
In terms of strategic advice, Horwath HTL anticipates significant growth in ESG reporting for hotels in the coming years. Internationally, several collaborations have already been established within Horwath HTL in the field of ESG. A key goal of this partnership is to further develop expertise in ESG and to advise clients in the hospitality sector on sustainable solutions.
By joining forces, Forvalue and Horwath HTL are better equipped to optimize their collaboration with the real estate market and proactively assist our clients with their real estate needs. Whether it concerns strategic advice, valuations, or sustainable solutions, we are ready to face the challenges of the future together. We invite our clients and partners to explore the possibilities of this new partnership and join us in finding the way forward.
