Horwath HTL was engaged by SK Group to conduct a market study and provide development recommendations and projections for a proposed expansion. Subsequently, the plan was changed to having a differently positioned second hotel on the site for which Horwath HTL assisted with the operator selection and contract negotiations, resulting in 252-room Vista Walkerhill.


Project Scope

Horwath HTL was engaged by SK Group to conduct a market study and provide development recommendations for a proposed expansion at the Walker Hill site. The initial phase of the engagement involved a thorough analysis of market conditions, including existing hotel performance, demand drivers, and competitive benchmarking. This analysis was instrumental in identifying potential opportunities for expansion and guiding the overall development strategy.

As the project evolved, the initial plan was revised to introduce a differently positioned second hotel on the site, targeting a more distinct segment of the market. Horwath HTL provided strategic support throughout this transition, leveraging market insights to refine the positioning and concept for the new hotel. Detailed development recommendations were delivered, ensuring the new property would complement the existing facilities while appealing to a broader and more diverse clientele.
