Financial Due Diligence for Montanyà Hotel & Lodge
Horwath HTL was commissioned to provide a preliminary advisory package for Montanyà Hotel & Lodge, a 4-star superior property located within the Montseny Natural Park, just 50 km from Barcelona. Originally built in 1975, the resort includes 226 rooms, 4 bungalows, and offers potential for an additional 150 rooms thanks to available development rights of over 9,000 m².
Project scope
To reduce project risk, the property engaged Horwath HTL to carry out a comprehensive preliminary due diligence process. This included a business and legal due diligence as well as a technical and environmental assessment of the facilities. The analysis provided the owners with a clearer understanding of the asset’s condition, development potential, and key considerations for future investment and repositioning strategies.
