Sara Lopes
Manager, Lisbon, Portugal
Sara Lopes is a Manager at Horwath HTL Portugal, working across the tourism, hospitality, leisure, real estate and investment sectors.
Sara brings a sharp analytical perspective and a strong sense of place to her work, helping shape projects that are strategically grounded, economically robust and built for long-term value.
Sara works closely with investors, developers, operators, public entities and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle — from concept definition and market positioning through to feasibility, implementation strategy and asset management.
With significant experience in Real Estate Asset Management, Sara has supported investment fund portfolios through value enhancement strategies, performance monitoring, opportunity assessment and stakeholder coordination. Her wider consultancy work spans mixed-use developments, hotel assets, tourism destinations and territory-based initiatives across Portugal and internationally.
Sara's approach is both multidisciplinary and impact-driven. She draws on strategic consultancy, territorial insight and sustainability principles to ensure that projects are aligned with their market potential and broader objectives, while remaining true to the character and identity of each place. The result is work that is more competitive, more sustainable and better positioned to create lasting value.
Sara holds a Postgraduate Degree in Territorial Management, specialising in Territory and Development, from FCSH, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism — recognised by the UNWTO — from ESEC, Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra.
