Project Scope

We were approached by the municipal authorities of Anji to develop a comprehensive destination masterplan for Anji Sports Town. The goal was to create a strategic framework that would transform the area into a premier sports and recreational hub, attracting both local and international visitors while fostering community engagement and economic growth.

The project commenced with an extensive needs assessment to understand the current state of Anji Sports Town, including existing facilities, infrastructure, and community resources. We engaged with stakeholders, including local government officials, sports organizations, community leaders, and potential investors, to gather insights and align the masterplan with the region’s vision and objectives.

A detailed site analysis was conducted to evaluate the geographical and environmental factors influencing the development. This included assessing land use, accessibility, transportation links, and environmental sustainability. We identified key areas for development, such as sports complexes, training facilities, accommodation options, and recreational spaces, ensuring that the design would support a diverse range of activities and events.

Market analysis played a crucial role in the masterplanning process. We examined trends in sports tourism, benchmarking against successful sports destinations globally. This involved analyzing visitor demographics, preferences, and spending patterns to tailor the offerings of Anji Sports Town to meet market demands. We also identified potential partnerships with sports federations, educational institutions, and corporate sponsors to enhance the town’s appeal and sustainability.

Financial planning was integral to the masterplan, ensuring that the proposed developments were economically viable. We developed comprehensive financial models to project capital investments, operational costs, and revenue streams. This included identifying funding sources, such as public-private partnerships, grants, and sponsorships, to support the infrastructure and operational requirements of Anji Sports Town.

Operational strategy was formulated to ensure the long-term success and management of the destination. We outlined governance structures, management frameworks, and operational protocols to maintain high standards of service and facility upkeep. Additionally, we recommended marketing and promotional strategies to build brand awareness and attract a steady flow of visitors and events.

Risk assessment was conducted to identify potential challenges, including environmental impacts, economic fluctuations, and operational risks. Mitigation strategies were proposed to address these risks, ensuring the resilience and sustainability of Anji Sports Town. This included contingency planning, environmental conservation measures, and community engagement initiatives to foster local support and participation.

The masterplan culminated in a detailed strategic document that provided a clear roadmap for the development of Anji Sports Town. The plan included site layouts, development phasing, financial projections, and implementation timelines, offering a comprehensive guide for stakeholders to execute the vision effectively.
