Horwath HTL undertook a strategic engagement to redefine the positioning of a state holding’s tourism portfolio and establish a governance model to drive its long-term success in the South-East Europe (SEE) region. This project was a cornerstone in optimizing the holding’s extensive hospitality and tourism assets, aligning them with market trends and regional growth opportunities.

The process began with a comprehensive analysis of the holding’s portfolio, evaluating the performance, market relevance, and strategic potential of its diverse assets, which ranged from hotels to ancillary tourism infrastructure. Our team conducted a detailed market study to identify regional trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities, providing the foundation for repositioning the portfolio. This phase also included stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment between governmental objectives and market demands.

Based on the analysis, Horwath HTL developed a strategic framework to enhance the portfolio’s market position.
