Volcanoes National Park Market Analysis and Financial Feasibility Study
Our office provided the client with a detailed market analysis and financial assessment of the opportunity in support of his business planning strategy.
Project Scope
Horwath HTL conducted a comprehensive market analysis and financial feasibility study to support the business planning strategy for a proposed redevelopment project in Volcanoes National Park. The project included the transformation of the existing Gorilla Nest Lodge, alongside the development of a gorilla discovery and briefing centre, a souvenir shop, and office spaces for the Office of Tourism and National Parks.
Additionally, the plan envisioned the establishment of a 5-star luxury tented camp, featuring 10 to 13 keys, designed to elevate the area’s hospitality offerings. Through in-depth market research, we analyzed the local tourism dynamics, including demand trends, competitive positioning, and the potential for high-end accommodations in this ecologically significant region.
The financial feasibility assessment provided an independent evaluation of the proposed development, highlighting revenue potential, cost implications, and overall financial viability. Our study equipped the client with actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning to maximize the project’s success while aligning with conservation and sustainable tourism objectives.
