Tourism Experience
Saudi Arabia Regional Tourism Development
Horwath HTL has been engaged by an undisclosed Public Investment Fund (PIF) company responsible for spearheading tourism development in a key region of Saudi Arabia.
This pivotal project involves a multi-phase approach designed to unlock the region’s full tourism potential and support its broader economic goals.
Project Scope
The engagement begins with an in-depth identification and assessment of the region’s tourism value chain. This critical review includes analyzing existing tourism assets, infrastructure, and service gaps, enabling us to pinpoint areas with the highest potential for growth and development. Through a comprehensive evaluation, we assess both the supply and demand sides of the tourism equation to ensure a holistic understanding of the region’s strengths and opportunities.
Following this, we work closely with private sector operators to gauge their interests and align potential opportunities with market needs. By fostering dialogue with industry stakeholders, we ensure that our approach is grounded in real-world insights and market viability.
One of the core components of our work involves the conceptualization and development of 20 distinct business cases. Each case is rigorously assessed for financial pre-feasibility, including investment estimation, business model definition, concept development, and overall financial viability. These cases are crafted to appeal to both domestic and international investors, ensuring they are attractive and commercially sound.
The project culminates with the establishment of a robust implementation monitoring mechanism, including detailed implementation milestones and a clear roadmap for execution. This comprehensive approach ensures that the region’s tourism sector will thrive and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 goals.
