Project Scope
In June 2022, Accor rebranded 8 on Claymore Serviced Residences Singapore as Novotel Living Singapore Orchard, marking the debut of the Novotel Living brand in Asia. This strategic transition was designed to align the property with Accor’s extended-stay brand, targeting travelers seeking accommodations that combine the comforts of home with hotel-level amenities.
The rebranding involved a significant refurbishment of the property’s 85 units, transforming them into modern and functional living spaces tailored for extended-stay guests. These accommodations range from executive studios to two- and three-bedroom apartments, all featuring spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and in-room laundry facilities. This approach meets the needs of business travelers, expatriates, and families who value convenience and self-sufficiency during longer stays.
Situated in a prime location, just a five-minute walk from Orchard MRT station and surrounded by premier shopping and dining options, the property benefits from exceptional accessibility and a vibrant urban setting. Complementing its location, Novotel Living Singapore Orchard offers an array of amenities, including a redesigned lobby, a Clubhouse lounge for social and business interactions, a landscaped pool with cabanas, and a well-equipped gym. These features enhance its appeal as a comfortable and convenient choice for both leisure and business travelers.
The rebranding aligns with Accor’s broader strategy to expand its extended-stay portfolio in key markets. By introducing the Novotel Living brand in Singapore, Accor positions itself to address the growing demand for long-term accommodations that combine residential-style features with the service and quality associated with its hotel offerings. This move also strengthens Accor’s presence in Singapore, where it currently operates 27 properties under various brands.
The transformation of 8 on Claymore into Novotel Living Singapore Orchard reflects a strategic effort by Accor to diversify its offerings and meet evolving traveler preferences. The property’s upgraded facilities and integration into the Novotel Living brand enhance its competitiveness in the extended-stay market while reinforcing Accor’s reputation for innovation and adaptability.
