Horwath HTL Hungary was retained by South Oil, the leading oil company in South Kazakhstan to assess the viability and market position of its Rixos Kadisha Hotel in Shymkent, one of the city’s most prominent hospitality assets.
Project Scope
Our mandate included a thorough market and financial feasibility study to measure the property’s performance potential within the local and regional hotel market.
This entailed evaluating demand drivers, projected revenue streams, and competitive pressures, providing an independent assessment of long-term sustainability.
We complemented this analysis with a detailed development concept review to ensure the product mix, service offering, and positioning were aligned with evolving market needs.
In a later stage we also provided support in guiding the client through management contract negotiations with Rixos, ensuring fair terms that safeguarded the owner’s interests while securing operational excellence.
The final recommendations equipped the client with a clear strategy for strengthening asset value and profitability.
