Kristina serves as the Head of Hospitality Advisory at Horwath HTL Croatia. Over the course of her tenure at Horwath HTL Croatia, Kristina has participated in more than 80 projects and has extensive experience working with major hotel brands and securing financing for large-scale investment projects.

Kristina serves as the Head of Hospitality Advisory at Horwath HTL Croatia, where she has been since 2013. With a background in Finance from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, her career began with a Regional Economic Development project funded by the European Union and led by KPMG Roma, Italy. This foundation paved the way for her to excel in the hospitality and real estate sectors.

Over the course of her tenure at Horwath HTL Croatia, Kristina has participated in more than 80 projects, showcasing her expertise in hotel and real estate development concepts, investment planning, operator searches, and negotiations of management and franchise agreements. Her skills extend to developing strategic business plans for hotel companies, ensuring that her clients benefit from tailored, actionable solutions. Her diverse project portfolio spans urban hotels, boutique properties, luxury resorts, mixed-use developments, multipurpose convention centers, camping resorts, and glamping projects.

Kristina has extensive experience working with major hotel brands and securing financing for large-scale investment projects. Her success includes collaboration with institutions like the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), and various commercial and development banks. Her expertise has been applied across a range of geographies, including Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Albania, and the Russian Federation.

She holds an Advanced Certification in Real Estate and Hotel Investment from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and is a certified Real Estate Broker and Mediation Agent through the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Cornell Hotel Society and serves on the Board of Directors for the AlpAdria & Eastern Europe Chapter.

In June 2022, Kristina was promoted to Senior Project Manager and subsequently took on the leadership role of Head of Hospitality Advisory at Horwath HTL Croatia, where she continues to drive innovative and impactful solutions in the hospitality sector.
