Bryan Younge, MAI, ASA, FRICS, has joined Horwath HTL as the Managing Director and Americas Practice Leader for the Valuation Advisory service line. With over 25 years of experience, Bryan has successfully built and led three specialty practice groups across prominent commercial real estate firms.

His expertise spans various property types, including resorts, hotels, stadiums, golf courses, amusement parks, office buildings, industrial facilities, shopping centers, multifamily housing, and land, both domestically and internationally. He has completed a range of appraisal, financial reporting, and consulting assignments, and has provided litigation support in matters such as tax appeal, bankruptcy, special servicing, condemnation, estate planning, receivership, and other court-related cases.

In his new role, Younge will be working alongside the Global Chairman, John Fareed, MSc CHME ISHC. John Fareed is a globally recognized expert in the hotel, tourism, and leisure (HTL) industry, leading Horwath HTL’s global brand and overseeing its Americas offices. With over 25 years of experience, Fareed has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, national brands, and investors around the world. He has shared his expertise at industry events across multiple continents and has been featured as an industry expert on major news networks and in leading publications. An award-winning author and sought-after keynote speaker, Fareed is widely regarded as one of the top minds in hospitality and marketing.

Before joining Horwath HTL, Younge was Executive Vice President and Specialty Practice Leader of Newmark's Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure group, where he led a 30+ member team across the United States and India. Prior to Newmark, Younge served as the Managing Director and National Practice Leader of the Hospitality and Leisure specialty group at Colliers International Valuation & Advisory. Before that, he spent 13 years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was the National Practice Leader for the Sports and Entertainment Group and a senior member of the Hospitality and Gaming Group.

Earlier in his career, Younge worked as a Senior Consultant with the Valuation Services groups at Andersen and Deloitte in Chicago and with PwC’s Hospitality and Leisure Consulting group in Los Angeles. He also served as a Senior Consultant at HVS and held the position of interim acquisition, development, and investment analyst at Sage Hospitality Resources in Denver.

Younge holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate Law from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Real Estate Finance from Cornell University. As an undergraduate, he earned a spot on the National Dean’s List and was a member of the National Honors Society. He also completed the Corporate Finance Summer Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Most recently, Younge has participated in continuing education programs on commercial property valuation sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and other accredited institutions.
