His expertise spans a range of activities, including site analysis, lodging market assessments, development concept reviews, financial analyses, and hotel impact studies. John's diverse portfolio includes work with hotels, resorts, country clubs, condominium hotels, mixed-use developments, and vacation ownership projects.

Before joining Horwath HTL in May 2019, John served as a Consultant at CBRE Hotels, where he successfully completed over 60 market studies and contributed to the appraisal of various hotels and resorts across the United States. His background also includes valuable operational experience at prestigious properties such as the St. Regis Atlanta Hotel and the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with majors in Finance and Hospitality Administration from Georgia State University. During his academic career, he was actively involved in organizations such as the American Hotel & Lodging Association and served as chapter president for the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality’s Georgia State chapter.
