Project Scope

Our office was retained by the owner of Hotel HRH, to provide contractual advice regarding their existing agreements with various service providers and stakeholders. The primary objective was to ensure that all contracts were optimized to protect the client’s interests, minimize risks, and enhance operational efficiency.

We began by collecting and reviewing all relevant contracts, including those with suppliers, service providers, tenants, and other third parties involved in the hotel’s operations. Our legal team analyzed each contract’s terms and conditions, focusing on key aspects such as pricing structures, service levels, termination clauses, liability provisions, and compliance with applicable laws.

Our team identified clauses that could pose risks to the client, such as unfavorable payment terms, excessive penalties, or ambiguous responsibilities. We also looked for opportunities to renegotiate terms to achieve cost savings, improved service quality, or greater flexibility.

We provided advice on contractual compliance, ensuring that the hotel’s obligations were being met to avoid potential disputes or legal issues. For contracts nearing expiration or renewal, we offered recommendations on whether to extend, renegotiate, or terminate based on performance evaluations and market alternatives.

In cases where disputes had arisen or were likely, we advised on strategies for resolution, including negotiation approaches and, if necessary, legal action.

Our team also developed standardized contract templates for future agreements, incorporating best practices and protective provisions to streamline the contracting process and reduce legal risks.

The final report presented with a comprehensive assessment of their contractual landscape, highlighting areas of concern and providing actionable recommendations. Our advice enabled the client to strengthen their contractual positions, reduce liabilities, and enhance the overall efficiency and profitability of Hotel HRH’s operations.
