As the Global Lead for S4B, she oversees the implementation of the program worldwide, fosters collaboration across regions, and develops strategies to integrate sustainability into business practices and client solutions.
Bio
Julia Chudnobsky is an accomplished Environmental and Sanitary Engineer with over eight years of experience dedicated to advancing sustainability and environmental responsibility across both the public and private sectors. Based in Latin America, Julia is an integral member of the Horwath HTL team, contributing her expertise to both the Brazil and Argentina offices.
Over the past three years, Julia has specialized in corporate sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies, and carbon credit mechanisms. Her career reflects a strong commitment to driving measurable impact through innovative solutions that align environmental stewardship with business performance.
Prior to joining Horwath HTL, Julia served as the Sustainability and Carbon Officer at HomeBiogas, a globally recognized leader in biodigester technology and carbon credit generation, headquartered in Israel. In this role, she successfully led the company’s carbon credit certification process under the Gold Standard, while also developing and implementing ESG strategies across operations. Her work contributed to the positioning of HomeBiogas as a key player in the global sustainability arena.
At Horwath HTL, Julia has been instrumental in developing and leading the firm's ESG initiatives. She authored the company’s inaugural ESG report and played a key role in establishing internal sustainability standards. Currently, she spearheads the international development of the firm’s Sustainability for Business (S4B) division—an innovative service line that supports hotels and tourism stakeholders in achieving sustainability goals through strategic advisory, ESG integration, and impact measurement.
Julia’s cross-cultural perspective, technical proficiency, and strategic mindset position her as a leader in the evolving field of sustainable hospitality. Her work continues to shape responsible growth across Latin America and beyond.
