Josefina Otero is the Country Manager for Paraguay, with over 18 years of leadership in operations, openings, and strategic hospitality consulting, Josefina is recognized for driving profitability, developing high-performance teams, and implementing innovative practices in revenue management, marketing, and organizational culture. She has acted as CEO of Noddo Hotels & Consulting and President of the Paraguayan Hotel Industry Association (AIHPY).


Bio

Josefina Otero is a hospitality executive with more than 18 years of experience leading hotel operations, international openings, and strategic consulting projects across Latin America. As General Manager of Dazzler & Esplendor by Wyndham in Asunción (2016–2024), she positioned both hotels among the most recognized workplaces in Paraguay, earning multiple “Best Place to Work” awards between 2017 and 2023. Throughout her career, she has focused on building high-performance teams and shaping a customer-centered service culture. Her earlier experience includes leadership roles at Cyan Recoleta, Fën Hoteles, and Tailor Made Hotel.

In 2024, Josefina founded Noddo Hotels & Consulting, a specialized management and advisory firm dedicated to driving operational efficiency, digital transformation, and sustainable growth. Through Noddo, she leads projects that accompany hotel openings, repositionings, and ongoing operations throughout Paraguay, applying innovative approaches in revenue management, digital marketing, and organizational culture. The firm’s mission is to professionalize, modernize, and strengthen the country’s hospitality industry.

Beyond her consulting role, Josefina serves as President of the Paraguayan Hotel Industry Association (AIHPY), where she works to advance competitiveness, sustainability, and professional development across the sector. She holds a Diploma in Management for Competitive Markets (2024) and speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese. Her expertise includes strategic leadership, talent and team development, revenue optimization, marketing, customer experience, and crisis management, with a strong commitment to ethics, inclusion, and innovation.
