Alex Rondon

Alex supports clients in the planning, development, and enhancement of hotel and resort projects across global markets. Drawing on over two decades of international hospitality and real estate experience, he provides strategic advisory services that optimise performance and drive asset value.

Currently serving as Associate Partner, EMEA for Horwath HTL, Alex is based in Prague and works with owners, developers, and operators to guide the execution of globally recognised projects.

Alex began his career as a lawyer before transitioning into hospitality. He held senior operational and technical roles with renowned properties in Europe, the Americas, and Asia before moving into corporate leadership, culminating in an executive role at a Fortune 500 company.

He brings deep expertise in leading multidisciplinary technical services teams, including design, procurement, and IT, where he has delivered a wide range of complex initiatives for hotel groups, leading strategic tech overhauls and system design projects as a partner in a global tech consultancy.

A lifelong learner, Alex is passionate about education and is gratified to share his knowledge with his hospitality students. His academic background includes a Master's in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Rome Business School, a Post-Graduate Degree in Hotel Operations & Management from Swiss Hotel Management School, a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University, and a BA in Law & Juridical Sciences from University Estacio de Sa.
