Global Hotel Company Strategic Development Plan

Strategic rollout plan for newly acquired hotel group

Horwath HTL was engaged by an international hospitality brand to create a strategic rollout plan for their newly acquired hotel group. Our role went far beyond a standard market entry analysis – our aim was to provide a roadmap that would ensure long-term success in global expansion.

To achieve this, we undertook a multi-layered approach involving comprehensive market research, strategic positioning, and meticulous planning.

We began with an in-depth analysis of global markets, focusing on key indicators such as market demand, competitive landscape, and economic conditions. This research helped us identify priority regions where the brand’s expansion efforts would have the greatest potential. Our approach included evaluating not only the supply and demand dynamics, but also analysing the ownership structures of existing hotel assets. This allowed us to pinpoint specific opportunities for converting existing properties, acquiring and transforming assets, or pursuing ground-up developments.

Working closely with the client, we defined target markets based on criteria such as brand alignment, growth potential, and market entry barriers. From this, we developed a prioritized list of markets, enabling the brand to strategically allocate resources and focus on areas with the highest return on investment potential.

Beyond identifying opportunities, we also facilitated the integration of the new hotel group into the brand’s existing portfolio. We helped align the new properties with the brand’s core identity while introducing innovative concepts to boost market appeal. Our strategic insights have already led to the successful acquisition of several assets, with additional projects underway based on our recommendations, paving the way for sustained global growth.
