About
After having lived and worked in 10 cities, Zoe Wu moved to Shanghai in 2007 with Horwath HTL and founded its Shanghai office as the Executive Director. Zoe has over 30 years of hotel, tourism and leisure speciality experience from the US, Canada, China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong) as well as South East Asia. Her professional experiences span the full life cycle of a hotel development and asset management process. Zoe’s involvement in destination master planning projects highlights market driven, demand focused concept recommendations as well as providing financially viable and sustainable solutions. Prior to joining HHTL, Zoe gained operational experience from the Hyatt Group and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts in North America and Asia. In addition, Zoe spent two years in Washington DC as a Marketing Consultant specializing in hotel database analysis.
Zoe holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration. She is a member of the President’s Council of Cornell Women, Cornell China Alumni Advisory Board, and the Vice Chair of China Council for Cornell College of Business. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, fly-fishing and scuba diving in various parts of the world.
