Graduated with an MBA in hospitality management from the ESSEC Business School in Paris, Matthias began his career in operations for various hotel companies such as Starwood as well as independent hotels.
Before joining the Horwath HTL team, he worked at AccorHotels headquarters in Paris, in the Hotel Development department. He participated in the creation of the new hostel brand as well as the launch of the mobile hospitality offer.
This experience allowed him to develop his reporting and data analysis skills. During this time he wrote tender offers for all types of brands and standards.
He mainly intervenes on market and feasibility studies as well as hotel development strategies for public entities. He has a good understanding of the various necessary steps to the completion of a hotel program, from the study phase (market and site study, product recommendation, financial feasibility, initial program) to the investor research phase as well as the structuring of the project.
