Ms. Lauzière’s areas of expertise include:
- Market and feasibility studies for hotels and tourism developments
- Operational studies and profitability analysis for hotel establishments
- Analysis of results and strategic development in revenue management
- Expertise in hotel software and point-of-sale systems
Ms. Lauzière is responsible for the compilation and interpretation of relevant information and data collected during the preparation of market studies and appraisal reports.
As a consultant, Ms. Lauzière is also involved in the management of hotel assets under the direction of Horwath HTL. Her involvement includes daily operations and finance management, yield management and human resources management.
Ms. Lauzière has significant experiences in the hotel industry, particularly in managing operations and maximizing hotel processes for both affiliated and independent hotels in Canada, France and China.
Throughout her professional career, Ms. Lauzière has assumed an important role in improving the overall experience of guests. She is proficient in the use of technological tools and has a strong ability to quickly organize and mobilize teams in all situations.
During her studies, Laurence was selected for a Management Training Program at Starwood (now Marriott) in Dalian, China. This apprenticeship allowed her to develop her skills as a hotel manager.
She is pursuing her studies in finance at HEC Montréal in order to supplement her experience in revenue management and to deepen her knowledge of financial diagnostics and planning, as well as working capital management and investment strategies.
