About
r. Emery Yu is a consultant at Horwath HTL Shanghai. Since joining the company, he has successfully completed various market in depth studies, consumer research, financial analysis and forecast studies of city hotels, resorts, serviced apartments and multiple hotel renovation projects. These projects cover cities including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan, Hefei, Taipei and more. He has also provided F&B market studies and solutions to international luxury branded properties. Moreover, Mr. Yu is also responsible for executing the Horwath HTL’s Annual Taiwan Hotel Seminar and Taiwan Industry Statistical Yearbook, from data collection and analysis, event planning to final presentation.
Mr. Yu graduated from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne with a Bachelor’s degree. Prior to joining Horwath HTL, he has completed a series of F&B internships with hotels including the Shanghai Portman Ritz-Carlton, the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum and the Marriott Continent Office Hong Kong. Additionally, he has also served as an analyst for a local restaurant in Lausanne to support its franchise development.
