- Aiden is a qualified chartered accountant and has extensive experience working as a corporate services and recovery consultant since 1996 and has worked extensively on analysing and restructuring property transactions working with a range of Irish financial institutions. He has undertaken a number of work-out plans including recommendations to financial institutions in respect of both corporate and personal borrowers. Aiden has completed formal insolvency assignments for companies involved in hotel, retirement care, retail and building sectors.
- Aiden’s key areas of expertise are restructuring property transactions and tax-based transactions and recovery and insolvency cases. His key industry experience is the area of structured property investments, hotel, mixed use commercial schemes and residential/student accommodation. He is familiar with all aspects of banking including security and guarantee implications of facilities.
- Aiden has asset management experience in terms of ongoing reviews and monitoring of hotel operations, negotiations and review of management agreements and lease agreements, selection and change of operator for hotel projects. Aiden has presented to the lodging industry on cashflow management and banking issues facing hotels in an economic downturn on behalf of the Irish Tourist Board. He has also produced for the last 15 years the Ireland and Northern Ireland Annual Hotel Industry Survey which is the key benchmark document for the industry in Ireland.
