Horwath HTL was engaged to complement the client’s appointed project team and support the development planning process for a hotel development project. Acting as an intermediary between the client, the project stakeholders, and the operator’s technical services team, our role was to ensure alignment and integrity throughout the design development process.

The engagement involved working closely with the operator’s technical services team to ensure the proposed design met brand standards while addressing the specific needs of the client and the project’s unique objectives. This required detailed reviews of design proposals, operational layouts, and technical specifications to verify compliance with both operational requirements and market expectations.

We played a key coordination role, facilitating clear communication between all project parties, including architects, designers, engineers, and the operator’s representatives. This ensured that any technical issues or design modifications were promptly addressed, maintaining progress and alignment with the project’s timeline and objectives.

Our support included verifying the functionality of design elements, optimising guest flow and back-of-house efficiency, and ensuring that the proposed facilities were aligned with the intended market positioning and operational strategy of the hotel. In addition, we provided strategic insights to ensure the design captured the client’s vision while adhering to best practices in hotel development.
