Tommaso Moccafighe

Tommaso Moccafighe is a Junior Consultant at Horwath HTL Italy, with experience in hospitality consulting and destination development. His work focuses on market and feasibility analysis, research, and benchmarking, with assignments primarily across European markets. His objective is to develop a 360-degree perspective on hospitality consulting by gaining exposure to different types of assignments and the industry's strategic aspects.

Tommaso began his career at AIGO Srl, where he worked for almost one year in destination promotion, trade, and marketing. This experience provided him with an understanding of destination development and the tourism ecosystem, including the role of destination organisations, tourism stakeholders, and hospitality operators.

In 2023, Tommaso joined the PKF hospitality group as a Junior Consultant, based in Milan, where he gained three years of experience working on a range of hospitality consulting assignments across Europe. He contributed to feasibility studies, market research, and benchmarking activities, developing a solid understanding of hospitality markets, hotel positioning, and the key factors influencing the development and performance of hospitality assets.

Tommaso holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management and Territory from IULM University in Milan and a Master’s degree in Tourism Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan. His academic background complements his professional experience in both destination development and hospitality consulting.
