Steve Turk is a Senior Consultant with Horwath HTL, based in Atlanta. He brings more than 20 years of executive experience in luxury hotels and resorts, with deep expertise in food and beverage strategy, operations, and guest experience enhancement.
At Horwath HTL, Steve advises clients on operational strategy, food and beverage performance, and guest experience optimization, helping hospitality businesses unlock value and achieve sustainable success.
Throughout his career, Steve has held senior leadership roles with globally recognized hospitality brands, including Loews Hotels and Nobu Hotels, where he served as Executive Food & Beverage Director. He has also contributed to the success of leading properties and brands such as Trump Hotels, Viceroy Hotels, Morgans Hotels, and Mandarin Oriental. In these roles, he oversaw complex, high-volume operations, led multidisciplinary teams, and implemented service and operational improvements that strengthened performance and guest satisfaction.
Steve is recognized for his ability to translate operational insight into measurable results. His experience spans large-scale event execution, concept development, revenue optimization, and operational restructuring. With a strong understanding of the intricacies of luxury hotel management, he supports owners and operators in enhancing efficiency while elevating the overall guest experience.
In addition to his corporate leadership background, Steve founded Turk Hospitality Ventures, advising hotels, resorts, and vacation rental companies on operational improvement and strategic growth. He also established Tangy Management, a vacation rental management company, further broadening his perspective across hospitality asset types.
Steve holds a degree in Hospitality Administration from Florida State University.
