Marius Gomola has served as Managing Partner of Horwath HTL Hungary since 1995, bringing over 30 years of experience in the global hospitality industry.
Throughout his career, he has led and executed more than 400 consultancy projects across four continents, covering a wide spectrum of developments, including hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, and convention centres.
Bio
Marius's expertise goes beyond project management. He is actively involved in business development, cultivating strong client relationships, identifying emerging market opportunities, and driving revenue growth. He is particularly noted for his pioneering work in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, where he played a pivotal role in introducing innovative practices such as branding strategies, guaranteed management contracts, franchise agreements, and lease agreements. His forward-thinking approach has established him as a leader in hospitality consultancy across the region.
In addition to his consultancy achievements, Marius is the founder of the HOTCO Hotel Investment Conference, a premier platform for hospitality investment discussions in Central and Eastern Europe. His contributions have significantly shaped the industry, fostering dialogue and driving innovation in hotel investment.
Marius holds a degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Ryerson University's School of Business in Toronto, Canada. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and completed the Cornell Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management Course in 2020. His areas of specialisation include due diligence, acquisition and disposition strategies, and the valuation of single assets and portfolios.
