Hotel Yearbook 2015: Japan, Asia Pacific

Koji Takabayashi of Horwath HTL Japan has written an exclusive report for the Hotel Yearbook 2015 about Japan and the 2015 outlook for the market.

“It is expected that international visitor arrivals, especially in the leisure segment, will remain important for hotels in Japan. The depreciation of the Yen was a strong force for the rapid increase in international visitor arrivals in 2014.”

Mr. Takabayashi serves as managing director at Horwath HTL - Japan. He is also teaching as a visiting professor at Teikyo University in Tokyo. Previously, he worked for PWC Consulting and Mitsubishi Corporation. He is a CPA (Illinois, USA) and a member of Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA).
