Horwath HTL Sponsor The 2012 Hotel Yearbook

London, February 7th, 2012

Horwath Hotels, Tourism and Leisure (HTL), the world oldest and largest hospitality consulting network, have sponsored the 2012 edition of the Hotel Yearbook.

The latest edition, which has just been published, contains articles from many of the leading names in the hotel industry and is designed to look specifically at the year ahead and what it is likely to bring to the hospitality industry. The Yearbook has built up a reputation for cutting-edge, incisive articles that provide genuine insight into the world of hotels, tourism and leisure. Horwath HTL had been a consistent contributor to the publication for several years now, but has significantly increased their participation over the last 2 years. In this edition Horwath HTL contributed over 50 pages of market reports that cover the globe.

Woody Wade, founder and editor of the Hotel Yearbook said, “We are especially proud of our blossoming editorial relationship with Horwath HTL, whose experts this year have written 30 valuable country reports exclusively for the Hotel Yearbook. We see Horwath HTL as a great global partner and we are delighted that this year they have taken the step of becoming a sponsor, which is a significant partnership. We look forward to building on this relationship as the publication goes from strength to strength.”

Robert Hecker, Chairman of Horwath HTL, said, “We are delighted to have this opportunity, and to move our relationship with the Hotel Yearbook to the next level. We believe that this publication really sets the scene for the industry and is extremely well respected. In addition to sponsorship, we will continue to write articles that give a unique insight into the local challenges and opportunities in the coming year.”

About the Hotel Yearbook

Launched in 2007, the Hotel Yearbook is a completely forward-looking publication, the only one of its kind.  Within its pages, CEOs and other senior executives from the hotel industry worldwide, as well as leading analysts and observers, share their opinions and expectations for the coming year.  Each contributor looks specifically at his or her area of expertise – for example a geographic market or a segment of the industry – and describes the likely scenario for the near future.  As a whole, the Hotel Yearbook therefore offers readers a comprehensive overview of the trends and developments that will affect the hotel business in the year to come, as anticipated by the industry’s leaders themselves.
